Will I Succeed?

In life so many things are uncertain. You question yourself,"Will I succeed?" Before becoming a mother I asked myself that very question. I. was. scared. I have had two years to discover who I am as a mother. It has been the best moments of my life so far, but I do question every now and again,"Will I succeed?"

This past week as my little Bot Bot turned two I decided that I have in fact succeeded(thus far). I give him all that I have and most of that is just love. He smiles brighter than anything I have ever known. He is my heart and my world. He has taught me the TRUE meaning of unconditional love because before him I only THOUGHT I knew.

(Big Sigh.) Wow. Success is not everything but wanting to is...and I want to.

I can't believe my little boy is two. It is bittersweet to see them grow. I am amazed by all of the little things that he does. Here are just a few Little Boston:

Affordable Valentine's Day Outfit

Yesterday I spoke with my friend @RealLifeSarah on her live web show about what to wear to conferences.  It was a TON(because she is oh-so-awesome-fantastic-super).  I gave out my tips and tricks to making your wardrobe a hit at a conference but the main advice I gave was to stick to YOUR style and how does one do that?  SHOP. YOUR. CLOSET.

You do not have to spend a lot of money(or any) to look hott!  I started thinking of the next "event" I would  need a cute outfit for and found a great set for under $75. Oh yes, and they are pieces you can re-use!  My "event" only happen to be my fave holiday of the year Valentine's Day!!!  Check out the great outfit I chose and let me know what you think!!!

5 Multiplayer Apps for the iPhone

I have owned my iPhone for a little over six months and have just recently really started to explore the apps a little bit more.  We are very involved in the social aspect of what our phones can do such as Facebook, Tweetie,  and our email but what else is FUN?  Do you play games...do you play them alone?  I found that the games I play on my iPhone are okay but not AS FUN as those that allow for multiplayers.  Here I share some of my recent favorite multiplayer iPhone apps:

1.) Words With Friends

I am absolutely obsessed with this game.  It is just like the game we all know Scrabble.  You make words based on the panel of letters you have...it's that simple.  The reason I enjoy this app is that you can play your friends as long as you know their username.  You play at your leisure.  There is no time limit...just play and have fun(and beat your friends).


























2.) Depict

This is similar to Pictionary.  I will admit that I am pretty damn awesome when it is my turn to draw on this game.  Don't believe me(pshhh) ask @thebudegebunch and @ritzofslidell.  I draw a mean triceratops #justsayin.





























3.) Go Fish

This is a fun spin on an old game.  You create your player(the monkey is really cute).  You can play against a total of three players though I am not positive that you can play your actual friends rather than those who are online the same time as you.





























4.) Touch4

Ok so I seriously lose every time but I think that is why I keep playing it.  Hence the whole, failure is not an option theory.  It is a lot of fun as they have recreated a game we use to all love Connect Four!





























5.) UNO

UNO just have been one of my favorite games to play in college(no drinking involved of course :p) and is still a fave game of mine(now just without the drinking).  Now you can enjoy this game on your iPhone!  FUN FUN!












Now if you don't have an iPhone, I'm sorry.  I'm sure your Droid or 1990's phone has cool things too.  Tell me about it in the comments!  Any other multiplayer apps YOU like?

2010 Golden Globes...I LOVE that dress!

Inspired...through a creative journey

I have to tell you guys that posting videos everyday has really been inspiring for me.  I have found that by having a daily task that is still part of my ultimate goal makes everything so much more fulfilling. The fact that I am more likely to throw on a dab of makeup so I do not scare you all away makes me feel just a little bit better about myself.  Now I'm not saying that makeup is an immediate confidence booster but for sake of a feel good day for me...it is.  I am learning more about what works and what doesn't much quicker by being more active in pursuing my goals.  It's all fun and I'm remembering why I starting this whole online adventure in the first place.


I think for a while I almost lost site of my ultimate goals which made the path a little rocky.  I am not in that place anymore.  I do the things that make me inspired and excited and for the things that do not....I simply stop doing them.  Knowing that not EVERYTHING is going to work out just the way you want it to is vital...it's okay...I promise.

Come into my bloggy closet

With the new year 2010, we are all setting some expectations of what this year will hold for us.  Some of  these expectations are personal goals that have been set and others are business goals.  For me, I have a few things personally I will be working on but my biggest goal is to flourish as a business woman.  I have been blogging for a year and half and feel that I have made a tiny footprint in this blogosphere.  I am now looking to broaden my horizons a bit and now show what I am made of.  Sure you may know I am snarky, like pretty things, and love new media....but if I quit today what would you remember??  It's my goal this year to make sure you KNOW why I am here.

In talking with a few of my fellow tweets on Twitter, I realize I am not the only one who struggled at some point with sharing my blog life with my friends and family.  For the longest time they thought I was just "playing" on the computer.  Then playing began to make a little cash flow and they changed their tune a bit.  I haven't fully come out of the bloggy closet just yet.  I still hesitate when posting my videos from YouTube in fear that they will begin to rummage through my other videos.  Isn't that what I want though?  I want people watching my videos, but why not THOSE people???  I'm not sure but I will this year invite and encourage them to raid my "closet".
