Let's get back to the tree talk. What kind of tree does your family get? Artificial...Real....Flock....Pretty Green?? Do you go and cut it down with your family? Ahhhh, so many options what to do??

Artificial. I hate to sound all scrooge-y myself, but I'm SO allergic to anything green basically, that I have an artificial tree that I spray with pine scent - LOL!
real tree but fake garland with lights around the windows. easier to have up all month. I was so not on the ball last yr. would've done the same except my gf said she was coming over for lunch to see my decorations. got my butt moving!
I get a real tree from the guys who come down from Canada to sell trees on the sidewalk a couple of blocks from me. I don't have room in my apartment to store an artificial tree year round. Plus I really like the tradition of going and picking one out and carrying it home. My husband would greatly disagree with me on that.
REAL! There is nothing better! But coming from a province with a billion dollar Christmas tree industry it only seems right to support it!
Totally artificial. First, I have dogs. And they pee... on real trees which means they smell the real tree and I end up cleaning pee. NOT good! second... I have dogs. LOL... They also shed alot and I have to vacuum ALOT so I really dont want to add to my vacuuming by cleaning around a tree... so we go fake.. and its fabulous! BIG, prelit... gorgeous! I LOVE it!
We have 2 fake trees right now. We have had fake for a few years now. But we all decided that next year we are getting real trees. We have a blast going out to find the perfect trees. The kids love it!
We do a white artificial tree with silver and teal ornaments and white lights. It's so pretty and no mess LOL

I am ALL about the fake tree...mostly because I really don't like Christmas trees anyway and I kill plants. I'm also broke/cheap and like to get my money's worth. Getting a new tree that I will most likely kill before Santa comes is not a good use of the little bit of money I have. So if I have to have a tree, it's fake all the way for me.
