Toni of A Daily Dose of Toni asks for some bloggy love for this family...please help anyway you can. Prayers are always welcome!!

Eleanor Rose Suttle, daughter of Clayton & Meredith Suttle, was diagnosed with ‘bilateral retinoblastoma (cancer in both eyes) on June 13, 2007. She has been in treatment at St. Jude’s Research Center in Memphis since that time and has undergone chemo and laser therapy. Her cancer has returned and is now a stage 5 in both eyes. Her doctors have recommended Proton radiation ASAP. There are only 5 clinics in the U.S. that administer proton radiation. They have been referred to MPRI in Bloomington, Indiana. This procedure will be very expensive, $140,000 out of pocket. $70,000 will have to be paid up front before the procedure begins. They need to start this procedure next week, so we don’t have much time!

Please pray for a cure for cancer.

If you can donate, please send a gift to Eleanor. With God’s blessing and your help, we can get the treatment Eleanor needs so badly.
If 7,000 people can donate $10.00 = $70,000
If 3,500 people can donate $20.00 = $70,000
If 700 people can donate $100.00 = $70,000

Seriously need to give you the low down!

So, I need to give you the update on my silly lil monkey! He's getting HUGE! He has two little teephers and saying dada like it's going out of style. Eventhough I'M the ONE who nursed him for the first 6 months of his life! The thanks I get...

You all know we are out of town with hubby and staying in a business condo. Mr.Prince Boston doesn't like his pack n play(too hard) so he is sleeping on an air mattress. The other night we put him to bed. He was still kind of awake when we put him down but we figured he's just fall asleep. Well, he was being REALLY quiet(the sign that he is dong something wrong). So, I told hubby to check on him. He peeked in and look on the air mattress and HE WASN'T THERE! My son had managed to roll him self onto the floor(carpet) and all the way across the room into the closet! He was just sitting there clapping his feet together(will get into in another post).

He's crazy I tell you...he's to the point where you just can't turn your back or he might be across the room eating the dog's chew toy.

FYI No children were harmed in the making of this precious memory.

You've Got Mail...

Yes, I'm talking about AOL. As most of you know(if you are my twitter friend) that I had an extremely awesome(totally scary) phone interview with the Editor Director of StyleList.com today. We discussed their upcoming relaunch(I will post on The Posh Parent and Posh Point of View in a few days). So this weekend I took a look around their site to get familiar with everything. So, I was ready...and it was almost time(2:30pm). I knew that my son would be da da da da'ing it so I let hubby stay with him and thought the car would be the only safe place. I went out there 15 minutes early to gather my thoughts. I totally have socially anxiety with people I don't know(in person or on the phone). Seriously, I won't even call for pizza or call the doctor. Hubby does it for me. Oh yes, even the girl doctor!!! Love you hubby!! Anywho, my mind started going....What if they forget to call(even though they sent an email that morning saying they look forward to the call)...What if I get all tongue-tied...oh the stress! Then I didn't have time for stress....the phone rang! I answered and we had our interview...it was fine! She was SUPER nice...I asked all the questions I had planned and even got a little more info from her. Why is it that I get so crazy stressed out?? Does anyone else have these problems or am I the only lunatic around??

4. Only in America......do people order double cheese burgers, large fries, and a diet Coke.
5. Only in America......do banks leave both doors to the vault open and then chain the pens to the counters.
6. Only in America......do we leave cars worth thousands of dollars in the driveway and put our useless junk in the garage.
7. Only in America......do we use answering machines to screen calls and then have call waiting so we won't miss a call from someone we didn't want to talk to in the first place.
8. Only in America......do we buy hot dogs in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight.
9. Only in America......do we use the word 'politics' to describe the process so well: Poli' in Latin meaning 'many' and 'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures'.
10. Only in America......do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering.
